Compensation & Contract Overview

• Gross Weekly Pay: $2,052 (based on 36 hours)
• Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,246
• Hourly Rate: $22.39/hr
• OT/Holiday Rate: $38.58/hr
• Contract Dates: 03/29/2026 – 06/27/2026
• Shift: Nights (19:00 – 07:30) | 3×12-hour shifts
• Schedule: Every other weekend; No Call Required

Core Responsibilities

In the Trauma Surgical ICU, you will manage critically ill trauma and surgical patients requiring high-level intervention.

• Advanced Trauma Care: Implement and monitor intensive care plans for complex trauma patients.
• Rapid Assessment: Provide decisive judgment and critical thinking in a fast-paced Level I or II trauma environment.
• Multidisciplinary Coordination: Act as the primary coordinator for all clinical disciplines to ensure synchronized patient care.
• Documentation: Utilize OneChart EHR for meticulous recording of patient status and nursing interventions.
• Safety Compliance: Follow Standard Precautions and utilize PPE as required for high-risk clinical scenarios.

Required Qualifications & Certifications

• License: Active Kansas (KS) or Compact Nursing License.
• Clinical Experience: Proven experience in a Trauma ICU or Surgical ICU setting.
• Certifications Required: * BLS (AHA) & ACLS
• CPI/MOAB High Risk (Must include both Online and On-Site portions)
