Travel Nurse – Med/Surg $2,088 Weekly | Salina, KS

We are seeking an experienced Travel Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in a 38-bed Nephrology, Oncology, and General Medical unit. This role requires immediate proficiency with Meditech EMR and previous travel experience.

• Weekly Gross: $2,088

Compensation & Schedule

• Weekly Gross Pay: $2,088 (based on 36 hours)
• Hourly Rate: $23.39/hr
• Non-Taxable Stipend: $1,246/wk
• Overtime/Holiday: $35.08/hr
• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Rotation: Every other weekend required

Mandatory Requirements

Note: Candidates who do not meet these specific criteria will not be considered.

• EMR: Must have verifiable Meditech experience.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg experience + previous Travel RN experience.
• Licensure: Valid Kansas (KS) or Compact Nursing License at time of submission.
• Certifications: BLS required (NIHSS highly preferred).
• Exclusion: Prior employees of Salina Regional are ineligible for this contract.

Unit Details & Responsibilities

• Unit Capacity: 38 beds (Nephrology, Oncology, General Medical, and Dialysis).
• Patient Ratios: 1:6 (Nights and Weekends).
• Floating: Occasional floating to other Med-Surg units or to ED/ICU to care for floor-level patients.
• Uniform: Navy Blue scrubs.

Clinical Skill Requirements

• Respiratory: Chest tubes, CPAP/BiPAP, HFNC, Tracheostomy Management, Oral Suctioning.
• Monitoring: Telemetry (on-unit and remote monitoring).
• Medications: Heparin, Insulin, PCA.
• Procedures: IV Therapy/Phlebotomy, Wound Vac/Wound Care, Surgical Drains.
• Specialties: Gastrointestinal, Renal/Genitourinary, Neurological (CVA, Substance Withdrawal).

Gross Weekly Pay: $2,088
Weekly Stipend: $1,246
Taxable Base Rate: $23.39
