RN Surgery Circulator – 13-Week Contract (Tulsa, OK)

We are seeking a skilled Surgery Circulator (RN) for a 13-week assignment at a premier 437-bed, non-profit, short-term acute care hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role requires a nurse who thrives in high-pressure environments and possesses the critical thinking skills necessary for top-tier intraoperative care.

Contract Logistics:

• Start Date: March 15, 2026
• End Date: June 13, 2026
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Days (06:30 – 19:00) | 36 Hours per week
• Call/Holiday: Must be available for on-call rotation and holidays as needed.

Financial Breakdown:

• Gross Weekly Pay: $1,908
• Hourly Rate: $18.39/hr
• Tax-Free Stipend: $1,246/week (for eligible travelers)

Key Responsibilities:

• Intraoperative Coordination: Serve as the primary coordinator for all surgical disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
• Patient Monitoring: Implement and monitor patient care plans; record and communicate patient conditions with precision.
• Physician Liaison: Note and execute physician and nursing orders accurately within the surgical suite.
• Discharge Planning: Assess and coordinate patient discharge needs with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Requirements:

• Credentials: Current BLS (American Heart Association/AHA) required.
• Experience: Previous experience as an OR/Surgery Circulator in an acute care setting.
• Skills: Strong critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
• Safety: Strict adherence to Standard Precautions and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
