Step Down Cardiac PCU Travel Nurse RN – Wichita, KS – up to $1,980 gross weekly

• Setting: Suburban teaching hospital, level 1 trauma, stroke, burn center.
• Start Date: 7/27/25
• Shift: Nights | 3x12s | 1900-0730 | 36hrs week
• Weekend Requirement: every other
• Contract Length: 13 weeks 10/26/25
• Weekly Pay: $1,980gross weekly; stipend (M&I $476wk / Travel $770wk) + W2 rate $20.39h.
• Requirements: 2yrs medical surgical RN experience, BLS, NIHSS. Active RN License.
• Notes: Must live outside of 50mile radius from Wichita, KS, facility for travel pay; local rates variable. Ascension employees not eligible.
• Job Details:  Performs initial and ongoing assessment of patient.  Communicates assessment findings to other health care providers as appropriate. Includes health counseling and health teaching needs in assessment. Plans care. Initiates and individualizes appropriate patient care guidelines/plan of care or clinical pathways.  Recognizes emergency situations and takes appropriate action. Completes patient assignment including documentation within scheduled timeframe. Bases interventions on clinical data and desired outcomes and documents accordingly.
